Do you make the showers yourselves or are they imported?

All materials and components for manufacture are sourced from New Zealand suppliers where possible and assembled by our own team in our factory located at 19 Portside Drive, Mt Maunganui. Materials that are sourced from overseas are according to Premiere Showers specifications with procedures to ensure quality standards and specifications are adhered to.

How do I keep my shower clean and how do I keep the glass looking good?

Keeping your shower clean comes down to good old elbow grease. Squeegee down your glass and acrylic liner or towel dry regularly helps to keep soapy residue build up to a minimum. Ask us about our glass treatment options which can be applied direct to the glass to help preserve the appearance of your glass.

Can the glass break? If it does, why? How do I get it replaced?

All glass used for showers is Toughened Safety glass in compliance with the Building Code. This however does not guarantee that the glass will not break. It is a very rare occurrence and when toughened glass does break there is seldom an obvious reason. If your glass does break, we suggest that you contact us as we are able to source and install replacement glass.

Can I fit a Shower Dome on your showers?

Yes, Shower Domes can be fitted on all sizes and shapes of our showers. Shower Domes are installed after the shower is installed on site.

Why don’t you seal inside your showers?

Silicones and sealers are not used on the inside of shower units because the aluminium extrusions and framework are designed with cavities which allow water, should it get into the frames, to exit internally and drain away down the waste. Councils and building authorities are generally also of the opinion that silicone internally can lead to mould forming.

Do you supply tiled showers?

Tiled showers are becoming more and more popular, however we do not produce them – we stick to what we know and do best. We supply and install custom made shower screens which are fitted on top of tiled floors and/or against tiled walls. Ask us about our framed and frameless glass options which are made to measure, to meet your requirements and budget.

How high are your showers?

Our standard full package (tray, liner and door) is at a finished height of 1920mm from the floor level. We also offer an over height option at a finished height of 2010mm from the floor level. Our Shower screens for on tiles are custom made – with options extending from wall to wall and floor to ceiling.
